Did seeing the extended versions change any of your previous thoughts about the films?

I'll admit that I didn't really enjoy the theatrical release of Alien 3. But upon seeing Fincher's extended version, it made me realize what an underrated film it really is, in my opinion. I don't know why I waited till now to post this... I've had the Quad for almost a year.

And by the way, Resurrection's extended version just made me hate it even more.

I never really minded alien 3 in the first place, but I think the extended cut is better. Aliens SE is better, and Alien director's cut is better, except for the part where she discovers the captain turning into an egg or whatever the hell is supposed to be happening. AR is crap anyway you slice it, but the beginning is even worse in the new cut.

I loved it. My wife and I watched all 45 hours of bonus footage in about two weeks tops.

I always liked aspects of Alien 3, but it's not my favorite. The extended version is more enjoyable.

Man, Cameron comes off as such a dick in the documentary.

Alien 3 is definitely underappreciated, but it is the least of the first three. But it's still one of the best horror sci-fi movies I've ever seen. Alien Resurrection doesn't even count in my mind for being such shit.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">that was Dallas being cacooned, which was a deleted scene that directly inspired Cameron in how he devised his vision of the Aliens

    Cool

I have not seen the Alien3 extended version even though Alien3 is my favourite flick of them all... I've been dying to see the extra footage.

The extended version of Aliens made me want to rip my eyes out and cut off my ears... too much Newt is not a good thing.
